KEY LOCATION REQUIREMENT

This vacancy is specifically for candidates who are currently residing or working in Chennai and are willing to relocate to Shirwal/Khandala near Pune, Maharashtra.

Selected candidates will be employed by Nikis Utility Services Pvt. Ltd. and deployed at the manufacturing facility of our client, ILJIN Global India Pvt. Ltd. This is not an ILJIN on-roll position.

Company-provided accommodation, canteen and transportation facilities will be available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machine maintenance, PLC troubleshooting and electrical/electronic systems in an automobile, auto-component or engineering manufacturing environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the maintenance team and will coordinate closely with the plant management and production teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and supervise the plant maintenance team and allocate maintenance activities.
- Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC and other manufacturing machines.
- Maintain machines used in turning, grinding, heat treatment, milling and super-finishing processes.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic and PLC-related machine problems.




- Identify root causes of equipment failure and implement suitable corrective and preventive actions.
- Handle basic mechanical-maintenance issues wherever required.
- Carry out maintenance of compressors, generators and other plant utilities.
- Monitor and calculate maintenance indicators such as MTTR and MTBF.
- Use problem-solving methods such as Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, Pareto Analysis and other analytical tools.
- Reduce machine downtime and ensure timely restoration of equipment during breakdowns.
- Prepare and maintain preventive-maintenance schedules, breakdown records, equipment history and maintenance reports.
- Manage maintenance spares, tools, inventory and maintenance-store activities.
- Ensure adherence to applicable plant safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Support documentation and compliance requirements related to MIDC and MSEDCL.
- Follow applicable IATF, ISO, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or
- BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS




- Minimum 4 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Hands-on experience in CNC and VMC machine maintenance is essential.
- Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and electrical/electronic control systems.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Knowledge of generators, compressors and plant utilities.
- Understanding of MTTR, MTBF and root-cause analysis techniques.
- Ability to supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Good problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Candidates from automobile, auto-component, bearing, precision-engineering or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Experience in leading or supervising a plant maintenance team will be preferred.
- Knowledge of IATF, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements will be preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance-store and spare-parts management will be preferred.
- Knowledge of MIDC and MSEDCL documentation requirements will be preferred.
- Candidates must currently be residing or working in Chennai or the surrounding Chennai industrial region.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Shirwal/Khandala near Pune, Maharashtra.
- Candidates should be comfortable being employed by Nikis Utility Services Pvt. Ltd. and deployed at the client’s manufacturing facility.
