Role Description The Director of Machine Learning is a full time, on-site role based in Noida. This role oversees the design, development, and deployment of machine learning solutions that strengthen Turtleneck’s cybersecurity products and services. Daily responsibilities include leading ML research and experimentation, defining technical roadmaps, guiding the development of models for threat detection, pattern recognition, and NLP, and integrating these models into production-grade systems.

The Director collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business and security requirements into data-driven solutions,



mentors ML and data science teams, and establishes best practices for model evaluation, performance, and governance. The role also involves staying current with emerging ML techniques and security trends, contributing to strategic decision-making, and representing the organization in technical discussions with clients and partners.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

Expertise in Data Science and Statistics for modeling, hypothesis testing, and performance evaluation.

Advanced skills in Pattern Recognition for anomaly detection, behavioral analysis, and threat classification.

Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) for analyzing logs, communications, and threat intelligence data.

Proficiency with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and programming languages such as Python.

Demonstrated experience leading ML teams, managing end-to-end ML lifecycles, and delivering production-ready solutions.

Background in cybersecurity or related domains, with an understanding of security architectures and threat landscapes.

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
