Job Title: Direct Taxation- Analyst

Location: Kolkata Experience: 3-5 years Industry: Financial Services / Tax Consulting Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage tax compliance, reporting, and coordination tasks for Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI) clients. The role involves daily transaction uploads, preparing remittance and tax documents, coordinating with custodians, and supporting assessment proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

- Upload trades, corporate actions, and client transactions in internal systems daily
- Prepare remittance certificates and notional tax reports for FPI clients
- Perform monthly and annual checks of NSDL statements
- Prepare return of income, computation of income, and related notes for FPI clients
- Coordinate with custodians for trade data and advance tax requirements
- Maintain FPI tracker (TRC,



engagement letters, undertakings, etc.)
- Draft submissions for income tax assessment proceedings

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting
- Knowledge of FPI taxation and compliance processes preferred
- Strong Excel and data handling skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
