We are looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman (Designer) to join our Detailed Engineering team within the Renewables Division. The role involves preparing accurate fabrication drawings for mechanical equipment and piping systems using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical drafting, fabrication detailing, and preparation of engineering drawings in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsivities:

- Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings for mechanical and piping systems using AutoCAD.
- Prepare part drawings for machining, forming, fabrication, and assembly activities.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based Bills of Materials (BOM) to support manufacturing and fabrication.
- Prepare and revise General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, weld maps and detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Detailed/manufacturing drawings of vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, structure etc.
- Read and interpret P&IDs;, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, customer specifications, and engineering documents.
- Understand piping layouts and piping components such as pipes, flanges, fittings, valves, and supports.
- Ensure drawings comply with customer specifications, project requirements, and applicable engineering standards.
- Perform drawing revisions and maintain document control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, production, and quality teams to ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.




- Use Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reports, and project-related activities.
- Knowledge of SAP for document management and material coordination will be an added advantage.

Require Skill and Experience:

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting & necessary detailing.
- Experience in preparing fabrication, machining, structural, and manufacturing drawings.
- Valuable understanding of pressure vessels, fabricated equipment, and structural steel components.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Familiarity with piping components and drafting practices.
- Working knowledge of applicable industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
- Good understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

- ITI – Draughtsman Mechanical (Preferred).
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering may also be considered.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in 2D mechanical drafting, fabrication detailing, or detailed engineering.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience in pressure vessels, process equipment, fabrication, EPC, heavy engineering, or renewable energy projects will be an added advantage.
- This position is intended for Mechanical Draughtsman with practical drafting expertise.
