To support with alternate material applications to drive material rationalizations, cost saving projects, new material developments for Film capacitor product development groups.

Key Responsibilities -

- Strong understanding of technical requirements of materials, suitable alternate and characterize for material qualifications in products.
- Proactively suggest alternate material developments for polymers, resins, adhesives, oils, etc.
- Demonstrate high understanding of implementable solutions with proven track record of implementing and validating materials.
- Collaborate with Global material specialist within TDK Film Capacitors business group to drive Technical Delivery Requirements of various materials.
- Perform characterization of materials resins, polymers to determine suitability of use.
- Responsible for material release through new product development procedures of APQP.
- Analyze incorporation of ideas based on customer need while considering cost targets, outstanding warranty.
- Experience of New Vendor Development for raw material required for Epoxy Resin and Hardeners.
- Experience of Handling customer complaint regarding Epoxy system.
- Knowledge of various Thermoset composite manufacturing procedure.




- Hands experience on Brookfield Viscometer, Gel #mer, Pot life, UTM, DSC, Auto-titrator, Arc resistance, Breakdown
- voltage, etc.

Skills & Knowledge: -

- Knowledge of Thermoplastic composite using extrusion process.
- Hands-on experience in Polymer characterization instruments, DSC and FTIR.
- Hands-on experience in UTM (Tensile & Compression), Impact Tester, MFI Tester, HDT, VST &
- Hardness (Shore A & D), BYK Spectrophotometer etc.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard and all NABL documents.
- Experience of NABL Audits, Knowledge ISO & ASTM Standards.

Qualification :

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer or Material Science or Chemical Technology (Polymers)

Location: TDK India Private Limited, E-22 / 25-1/2, MIDC Satpur, Nashik 422 007. The factory is located within Municipal Corporation limits, in close proximity to the prime residential areas of Nashik.
