Role Description The Data Science Trainer will design and deliver classroom-based training sessions that introduce learners to core data science concepts, tools, and applications in a clear and accessible manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, conducting lectures and practical exercises, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback and mentoring. The trainer will collaborate with academic and industry stakeholders to keep course content aligned with current data science and analytics practices.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Prayagraj,
requiring regular classroom interaction and participation in institutional academic activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundations in Science Education, with the ability to connect data science concepts to practical, real-world problems.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Mathematics, including statistics, probability, and algebra relevant to data science.
Candidates should possess experience or readiness as a Qualified Teacher, with the ability to manage classrooms and support diverse learners.
Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including structuring modules, pacing content, and designing assessments.
Practical experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization platforms is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, comfort with classroom instruction, and a learner-centered teaching approach are required.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science) is preferred.
Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in technical subjects, as well as familiarity with digital education tools, is an advantage.
