About The Role The SAS AML Data Analyst / Tester role at Dautom is a critical position responsible for overseeing the testing activities associated with the migration of the SAS Anti-Money Laundering platform from version 7.1 to SAS Viya 4. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all functionalities, including AML detection scenarios, business rules, workflows, and system integrations, are accurately transitioned and operate seamlessly in the new environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and implementation partners to validate that the migrated system meets all operational, regulatory, and business requirements.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in software testing, particularly within banking or financial services. The candidate will be instrumental in developing comprehensive test plans, executing various testing phases, identifying defects, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration process. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in banking or financial services. Hands-on experience testing SAS AML solutions is essential, along with familiarity with application migration or upgrade projects.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and experience working with test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. A strong knowledge of SQL, data validation, reconciliation, and ETL testing concepts is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with banking AML processes and regulatory compliance standards will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to the SAS AML migration project.
- Perform functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate migrated AML functionalities.
- Ensure that AML detection rules, workflows, and configurations operate correctly within SAS Viya 4.
- Validate that newly configured AML scenarios generate accurate alerts, outputs, and case creation results.
- Compare outcomes between SAS AML 7.1 and SAS Viya 4 to confirm functional equivalence where applicable.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of AML processes, including data ingestion, scenario execution, alert generation, and reporting.
- Identify, document,



and track defects, collaborating with technical teams and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to verify migration accuracy and data integrity.
- Support business users during UAT by preparing test data, executing scenarios, and addressing testing issues.
- Re-test defect fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure stability and functionality.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports, defect summaries, and status updates for project stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with organizational testing standards, quality processes, and governance policies.
