We are seeking an experienced Retail Functional Consultant with strong expertise in B2B and B2C retail processes and hands-on experience with payment connectors and integrations. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to gather requirements, design functional solutions, and ensure successful implementation of retail systems across omnichannel environments. Key Responsibilities

Act as a functional subject matter expert for retail solutions covering B2B and B2C business models

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows

Translate business needs into functional designs for retail platforms, integrations, and payment systems

Lead and support payment gateway and connector integrations (e.g., credit/debit cards, wallets, BNPL, refunds, settlements, reconciliation)

Work with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of order management, pricing, promotions, inventory, fulfillment, and returns

Support end-to-end retail flows: order capture, payment authorization, invoicing, shipment, returns, and refunds

Participate in UAT planning and execution,



defect triage, and solution validation

Collaborate with third-party vendors and payment service providers

Support data migration, configuration, and system testing activities

Provide functional guidance, training, and documentation to business users

Identify gaps, recommend best practices, and drive continuous process improvements Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience as a Retail Functional Consultant

Strong understanding of B2B and B2C retail processes

Proven experience with payment connectors and payment gateway integrations

Hands-on knowledge of:

Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes

Pricing, promotions, taxation, invoicing, and returns

Omnichannel retail (online, in-store, marketplace)

Experience working with ERP, OMS, POS, or eCommerce platforms

Robust functional documentation skills (BRD, FRD, process flows, use cases)

Ability to work in Agile/Scrum and waterfall project environments

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
