Cortex is Hiring ROLE: Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Specialist with Information Security We are looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity skilled with strong expertise in Information Security Risk Assessments, Vendor Security Evaluations, and Cloud Security .
Location: Bangalore Exp : 7 to 10 years Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Cybersecurity & Vendor Risk Assessments covering Business Continuity parameters such as RTO, RPO, and MTD
- Evaluate vendor security posture including policies, procedures, and controls
- Perform risk assessments aligned with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001:2022, and ISO 42001
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify critical vendors and cyber risk exposure
- Communicate risk findings and recommendations to senior leadership, legal, and compliance teams
- Work with vendors to remediate security gaps including MFA, SSO, and access controls
- Knowledge of Encryption & Cryptography (AES, RSA, SHA-256)
- Familiarity with Security Protocols (TLS/SSL, IPsec)
- Experience with Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of PKI infrastructure & digital certificates
- Ability to analyze penetration testing and vulnerability reports (OWASP Top 10, Nessus, Burp Suite)
- Expertise in Vulnerability Management
- Exposure to Cloud Security – AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred
- Experience with backup, restoration, and disaster recovery strategies
