We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to join our elite security operations team in Vadodara. In this high-impact role, you will proactively identify, isolate, and neutralize sophisticated cyber threats that bypass traditional automated security controls. You will work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts, incident response teams, and senior stakeholders to translate complex threat intelligence into actionable defense strategies.
By leveraging advanced analytics and forensic techniques, you will directly influence our security posture, ensuring the integrity of our digital infrastructure and protecting our global business operations from evolving adversarial tactics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives by developing hypotheses based on the Threat Hunting Maturity Model to uncover hidden malicious activities within the network.
- Orchestrate complex incident management workflows, coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize business disruption during high-severity security events.
- Architect and optimize security analytics dashboards in Splunk to improve the visibility of anomalous patterns and reduce mean time to detect (MTTD).
- Conduct deep-dive malware forensics and network traffic analysis using Wireshark to determine the root cause of security breaches and prevent future recurrences.
- Drive continuous improvement in vulnerability management by prioritizing patches based on real-world exploitability and threat landscape data.
- Automate repetitive security tasks and data collection processes using Python and Bash scripting to enhance the efficiency of the SOC team.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced threat detection and incident response, with a proven track record of managing complex security environments for 8 - 15 years.
- Exceptional proficiency in utilizing SIEM platforms like Splunk to correlate logs and identify sophisticated attack vectors.
- Strong technical command of malware forensics, network forensics, and ethical hacking methodologies to simulate and defend against adversarial maneuvers.
- Ability to communicate complex technical risks to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between security initiatives and business objectives.
- Professional certification such as CISSP is highly preferred, reflecting a deep understanding of global security standards and frameworks.
- Proven capability to thrive in a hybrid work workplace in Vadodara, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to mentor junior analysts while managing high-pressure security operations.
