Key Responsibilities

- Build Unified Automation Framework: Design and implement a Playwright, Selenium, Appium-based test framework lines, integrated with GitHub Actions CI/CD.
- Mobilize the Army: Train QA staff on AI-powered test creation tools.
- Establish 'definition of done' = code + automated test.
- Eliminate Manual QA Bottleneck: Eliminate Manual QA Bottleneck: Achieve 80%+ automated coverage on critical user flows across all products using AI-assisted test creation at scale.
- Should have experience in Manual Testing and Test Case writing as well.
- Enforce CI/CD Quality Gates: No PR merges without passing automated tests.



No deployments without passing regression. Non-negotiable.
- Define Quality Metrics & Report: Track automation coverage, test execution time, defect escape rate, and flaky test rate. Weekly report to Head of Engineering / CEO.

Required Experience

5-10 years in QA/SDET with 4+ years leading.

- Hands-on expertise with Playwright (primary); working knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Proven experience building test automation across heterogeneous tech stacks (.NET, Node.js/Laravel, PHP)
- Experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants for test generation
- Experience with AI-powered testing platforms (Testsigma, mabl, Katalon Studio, or similar)
- Track record mobilizing large teams (20+ QA + engineers) to adopt automation rapidly.
- Solid API testing experience (REST, GraphQL) for cross-product integration testing.
- Experience with Mobile app testing.

Strongly Preferred

- Finance, Healthcare, Retail, commerce, or ERP domain experience - inventory, POS, order management workflows
- Azure-based deployment and testing pipeline experience
- Experience with Applitools or similar AI visual regression tools
- Playwright exp is must
