Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development and SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions. The candidate should have experience in end-to-end implementations, rollout, and AMS support projects, with the ability to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise SAP applications.

- Lead and support SAP ABAP development activities across implementation, rollout, and production support engagements.

- Develop and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP/4 and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).

- Analyze business requirements and translate functional specifications into effective technical solutions.

- Design, develop, and optimize SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions using ABAP on HANA development approaches.

- Create and enhance CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and OData services for SAP HANA-based applications.

- Develop and maintain Adobe Forms for business document generation and reporting requirements.

- Design and develop data conversion programs using BAPI and BDC techniques, including table control scenarios using Call Transaction and Session Methods.

- Develop and support SAP Workflow solutions based on business process requirements.

- Perform debugging, performance analysis, and optimization of ABAP developments.

- Use SAP analysis tools including Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace, Code Inspector, and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) to improve code quality and optimize applications for SAP HANA.





- Ensure ABAP developments follow SAP S/4HANA coding standards and performance best practices.

- Support production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely technical resolutions.

- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and technical teams to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions.

- Prepare technical documentation, development specifications, and knowledge transfer materials.

Key skills required

- 6–8 years of overall SAP ABAP experience with strong focus on SAP ABAP development.

- Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project, rollout project, and production support engagement.

- Experience working on at least one SAP S/4HANA ABAP implementation project.

- Strong expertise in ABAP/4 and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).

- Positive knowledge of ABAP on HANA development concepts and optimization techniques.

- Hands-on experience in CDS View creation, AMDP, and OData service development.

- Strong experience in Adobe Forms development and enhancements.

- Experience in BAPI and BDC-based conversions, including table control handling using Call Transaction and Session Methods.

- Hands-on experience in SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting.

- Experience with ABAP performance analysis tools including Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace, Code Inspector, and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC).

- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to develop high-quality, optimized ABAP solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA standards.

- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working in large-scale SAP implementation and support environments is preferred.
