Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves creating, reviewing, and optimizing CNC programs for turning, milling (including multi-axis), and multitasking machines to meet precise dimensional and quality requirements. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings and specifications, selecting tools and machining parameters, and setting up or guiding setups to ensure efficient production.

The CNC Programmer collaborates closely with machinists,



production supervisors, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, improve cycle times, and maintain high standards of safety and accuracy. The role also includes continuous evaluation of processes, documentation of programs, and support for new product development and prototyping.

Qualifications

Ability to interpret and work with Technical Drawing and engineering documentation.

Solid CNC Programming skills for turning, milling, and multitasking machines.

Hands-on experience in Machining and Milling operations, including tool selection and setup.

Relevant Programming skills for CAM software and CNC controls.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

Experience with multi-axis CNC machines and precision components in sectors such as aerospace, defense, or automotive is an advantage.

Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
