Job summary: Impellam is a Compliance Coordinator to join the North America Compliance and Onboarding Team.



We’re looking for someone with knowledge of background screening operations and documentation requirements, who can efficiently and accurately manage screening processes in a high-volume staffing environment. This role reports to the Manager of Compliance & Onboarding and plays a pivotal role in enabling the compliance and onboarding function to be agile, service-oriented, detailed, and comprehensive as it brings new employees into the organization.

Your duties:

- Run background checks and drug screens for Impellam associates in accordance with Impellam standards and/or client requirements.
- Work with background and drug test vendors to ensure timely completion of screening requirements, especially if we are approaching planned start dates or delays.
- Partner with Talent Experience teams to gather additional supporting materials from candidates as needed. This especially applies to Employment Verifications. Verify that supporting materials align to the screening requirements and client audit standards, as applicable.
- Update internal systems recruiting teams on where associates stand in the process.
- Provide regularly scheduled updates on the status of all associates with open screening requirements, as per the standard update schedule.
- Maintain a 2 hour SLA on initiating screens once an offer is made.
- Maintain a 2 hour SLA on updating systems/stakeholders when screens are complete or when preliminary results become available.
- Collaborate with recruiting teams on candidate status and anticipated outcomes. Ensure all teams have the details they need to communicate accurately with their clients.
