Role Description:

The Community Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for strengthening and nurturing ASCENT’s entrepreneur community. This role involves managing member relationships, facilitating Trust Group interactions, and supporting community events and learning initiatives.

The Community

Specialist will coordinate onboarding and engagement activities, gather feedback from members, and ensure a high-quality, inclusive experience across programs.





Responsibilities include handling member queries, maintaining community records, collaborating with internal teams to plan events, and supporting communication efforts to keep members informed and engaged. The role requires a proactive, organized individual who enjoys working closely with entrepreneurs and can create a welcoming and collaborative community workplace. Qualifications:

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and community engagement capabilities.

Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Candidates should possess customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness and member satisfaction.

Candidates should possess community management skills, including coordinating events and facilitating group interactions.

Experience working with entrepreneur or professional communities is beneficial.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for communication, data tracking, and event coordination.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; backgrounds in communications, management, or social sciences are an advantage.
