1. Job purpose

The position is designed to set & operate the CTP (Computer To Plate) unit and Plate Developer unit to make the required printing plates for production as per the received Job Card/Work Order and Product specification.

Acting under the guidance of Graphic Artist, Studio Manager (Artwork Manager) / Production Supervisor / Production Manager. Keeping the system up-to-date, CTP unit and Developer unit clean, dirt free and following safety and food safety principles at workplace.

RESPONSIBLITIES

Art Studio

- Uses the desktop computer installed with special program to create multiples (no. of ups) of the design/artwork as per sheet size & ups mentioned in the Job card/Work Order.
- Checks the machine used for printing, color separation of the design/artwork, registration marks, color bars placement & gripper allowance and keeps the job ready for output.
- Checks the plate developer solution level in the developer unit and maintains the level as per the requirement.
- Runs the system and feeds the CTP with required plate output for individual colors.
- Develops & checks the plates as per checklist and delivers to printing.
- Keeps communication with Printer / Production supervisor about the printing plate status / ready.

1. Responsible maintaining & monitoring the condition of measurement gauges & it's calibration.
2. Responsible maintaining proper documentation & records of the measurement records.
3. Responsible for maintaining the LAB standard & obligatory to follow the GLP rules.
4. It is must to know about the company system policy-Quality & food safety Policy & EOHS policy.
5. Sustaining effectively 5s and WCM practices.
6. Sustaining effectively ISO, Food Safety, EMS & OHS related practices.

EMS & OHS RELATED OBLIGATIONS

1. Use PPE (Safety shoes, ear plugs, Hand gloves, etc) wherever necessary.
2. Following the safety signs & rules for safe working.
3. Responsible for controlling spillage of-Water, Chemicals, etc in day to day practices.
4. Responsible to support in the crisis situation.
5. Must be aware of the emergency procedures such as evacuation routes and assembly points, emergency phone numbers, locations of fire extinguishers, etc.
6. Must be aware the correct Contact No/telephone No in case of emergency.
7. Responsible for timely communicating about the potential hazards & situations.
8. Clean up spilled liquid, oil, or grease immediately
9. Consuming or being in possession of alcohol or illegal drugs in the workplace is strictly prohibited.
10. All employees must be aware of the emergency procedures such as evacuation routes and assembly points, emergency phone numbers,



locations of fire extinguishers, etc.
11. Employees are responsible for reporting to supervisor, whenever they become ill or injured at work. All injuries, no matter how minor, must be reported immediately.
12. Use of the safety equipment's -Like Eyes & body shower uses & its application
13. Observe and practice the safety procedures established for the job. In case of sickness or injury, no matter how slight, report at once to your supervisor. In no case should an employee treat his own or someone else's injuries or attempt to remove foreign particles from someone else's eye.
14. In case of injury resulting in possible fracture to legs, back, or neck, or any accident resulting in an unconscious condition, or a severe head injury, the employee is not to be moved until medical attention has been given by authorized personnel.
15. Do not wear loose clothing while working around machinery. It may catch on moving equipment and cause a serious injury.
16. Never distract the attention of another person, as you might cause him or her to be injured. If necessary to get the attention of another person, wait until it can be done safely.
17. Where required, must wear protective equipment, such as goggles, safety glasses, masks, gloves, hair nets, etc. appropriate to the task.

FOOD-SAFETY RELATED OBLIGATIONS

1. Must understand the food safety requirement related all the processes and should know more about CCP, OPRP & Basic PRPs.
2. Use appropriate PPEs to control over food safety hazards.
3. Obligatory to follow rules related food safety policies-Jewelry policy, Glass & Brittle material breakage policy, and Health Hygiene & safety policy.
4. Responsible for using the company provided uniform (should be clean & neat) during working hours.
5. Where required, must wear protective equipment, such as goggles, safety glasses, masks, gloves, hair nets, etc. appropriate to the task.
6. In-case of Food safety hazards or potential cause-Will immediately communicate to the Direct reporting superior & Food Safety team leader.
