About The Role HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic team on a PAN India basis. This role is pivotal in driving solution design and engineering efforts to accelerate the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at the enterprise level. As a key player, you will lead complex cloud migration, modernization projects, and data engineering initiatives, focusing on AI-driven automation and industry-specific use cases.

Your expertise will enable Fortune 2000 clients to leverage GCP’s capabilities effectively, ensuring scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience. At least 2-3 years should be dedicated to hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Technical proficiency in GCP compute, storage, networking,



and data engineering tools such as BigQuery and Looker is essential.

Candidates should have a foundational understanding of AI/ML platforms like Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, along with experience working within GSI ecosystems and enterprise sales environments.

Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer are highly preferred. Soft skills including executive presence, whiteboarding capabilities, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Go-To-Market (GTM): Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring solutions align with customer requirements. Develop ROI models for cloud consumption and hyperscale funding initiatives that optimize TCO. Design industry-specific use cases for IT managed services, emphasizing cloud adoption and modernization strategies.

Cloud Architecture & Solutions Engineering: Lead technical workshops and craft reference architectures for data center migration and modernization to GCP. Design and implement Google Cloud Native applications and enterprise-grade data engineering stacks utilizing BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI.



Innovate and develop Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions tailored to enterprise needs, enhancing IT managed services and cloud operations.

Partner Collaboration: Work closely with Google GSI partners to build joint solutions and scale go-to-market efforts. Bring industry domain expertise, particularly in BFSI, RCPG, Telecom, Healthcare, or Manufacturing, to map value stream use cases effectively. Foster strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction.
