About The Role HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving solution design and engineering efforts aimed at accelerating the adoption of Google Cloud at an enterprise level. As a Solutions Engineer / Architect, you will collaborate closely with global sales teams, technical architects, and industry stakeholders to craft cutting-edge cloud solutions tailored to client needs.

Your expertise will enable Fortune 2000 clients to migrate, modernize, and leverage data and AI-driven automation solutions on Google Cloud platform, thereby transforming their IT operations and business processes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience. At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience working specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential. Technical proficiency in GCP compute, storage, networking,



and data engineering tools such as BigQuery and Looker is required.

Familiarity with AI/ML platforms like Vertex AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) is highly desirable. Candidates should also have experience working with global system integrator (GSI) partners and a solid understanding of industry-specific value stream use cases, especially in domains like BFSI, retail, healthcare, telecom, manufacturing, or technology.

Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Qualified Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer are preferred.

Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Go-To-Market (GTM): Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.

Develop ROI models and hyperscale funding strategies that demonstrate TCO benefits of Google Cloud solutions.

Design industry-specific use cases and ideation sessions focused on cloud adoption, modernization, and managed services.

Cloud

Architecture & Solutions Engineering Lead technical workshops and create reference architectures for data center migration and modernization projects on Google Cloud.

Design and develop Google Cloud native applications and enterprise-grade data engineering stacks utilizing BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI.

Innovate and design AI solutions such as Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and Generative AI (GenAI) to address enterprise needs,



enhancing IT managed services and cloud operations.

Partner Collaboration

Work collaboratively with GSI partners to build joint solutions, scale go-to-market strategies, and expand solution footprints.

Leverage industry domain expertise to map value stream use cases across sectors such as BFSI, RCPG, telecom, healthcare, and manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into business value propositions, facilitating client engagements, and ensuring the successful delivery of cloud solutions that meet enterprise needs.
