Role & responsibilities :-

The Senior Engineer/ Manager / Senior Manager Subcontract Procurement is a hands-on technical role responsible for finalizing specialized civil subcontract packages, including labor, materials, and plant/machinery (PMV). The role involves detailed analysis of BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications, preparing and floating RFQs, evaluating vendor quotations, and facilitating technical discussions with vendors and site teams.

- Excavation Works
- False Ceiling
- Facade & Cladding
- Structural Steel Works
- Waterproofing Works
- Roofing Works
- Road Works
- Architectural Finishes
- Labor Contracts
- Other specialized civil works

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Requirement Coordination: Liaise with site teams for subcontract package requirements based on BOQ, drawings, technical specifications, and schedule.
- RFQ Preparation & Floating: Prepare RFQs including BOQ, technical specifications, Responsibility Matrix, and contract conditions; issue them to vendors timely.
- Vendor Clarification & Technical Discussions: Conduct meetings with vendors/subcontractors to clarify queries on scope, technical specifications, contract terms, and rates; ensure compliance with tender conditions.
- Rate Analysis & Comparative Statements: Perform detailed rate analysis considering labor, materials, and PMV; prepare comparative statements evaluating technical compliance, commercial alignment, and budget adherence.
- Approval Coordination:



Prepare approval notes and ensure sign-off by all relevant departments before issuing Work Orders.
- Work Order Handover & Kick-Off: Conduct formal meetings between subcontractors and site teams for introduction; communicate work order modalities to the Project Manager.
- Documentation & Record Maintenance: Maintain all records, including enquiries, quotations, approval notes, comparative statements, and Work Orders/Purchase Orders.
- Vendor Development & Evaluation: Identify, develop, and evaluate vendors for specialized packages to maintain a reliable, technically capable subcontractor base
- High integrity and ethical standards; must demonstrate professionalism in all vendor and site interactions

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Solid technical knowledge of civil construction and subcontract packages.
- Proficiency in BOQ interpretation, drawings review, rate analysis, and subcontract evaluation.
- Experience with specialized packages: False Ceiling, Facade, Excavation, Structural Steel, Waterproofing, Roofing, Road Works, Architectural Finishes and other Civil Packages
- Ability to conduct in-depth technical discussions with vendors and site teams.
- Strong documentation, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to ensure all technical and commercial aspects are addressed before finalization.

1- B.Tech Civil is Mandatory

2- Commercial and Residential projects are must.
