Role Description The Civil Engineering Intern will support design and planning activities for residential, commercial, and multi-purpose building projects. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing basic drawings and documentation, assisting with structural calculations, and supporting permit approval submissions under the guidance of senior engineers.

The intern will help gather and organize project data, participate in design reviews, and contribute to research on sustainable and cost-effective materials and methods. This is a remote internship role,



requiring consistent collaboration with the team through digital tools and explicit communication on project progress.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational civil engineering knowledge, including structural analysis basics, construction materials, and building design principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in drafting and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and be comfortable preparing technical drawings and layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in research and documentation, including collecting data, summarizing findings, and preparing reports and permit-related documents.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in remote teams, follow instructions, and present ideas clearly.
- Candidates should possess good analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn modern, sustainable design practices.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building codes, sustainable design concepts, and Vastu or similar planning principles is an advantage.
- High level of professionalism, time management, and self-motivation to contribute effectively in a remote internship environment.
