Role Overview We are seeking an accomplished Chief Architect / Chief Technologist with deep roots as a Full Stack Architect and strong Healthcare & Life Sciences domain experience . The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical depth with strategic architecture leadership to drive large-scale modernization, cloud transformation, and AI-led product and platform development in regulated healthcare environments.

This role will define the enterprise technology vision, lead complex transformations, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant digital platforms aligned with healthcare business outcomes and go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technology Leadership

- Own enterprise architecture strategy, standards, and reference architectures across applications, platforms, cloud, data, and AI.
- Act as the chief technology authority for healthcare and life sciences solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
- Provide hands-on architectural guidance and design reviews for complex, mission-critical systems.





Full Stack & Platform Engineering

- Demonstrated background as a hands-on Full Stack Architect with deep expertise in at least two of the following: Java, Python, .NET.
- Experience architecting across mainframe and modern digital stacks, including distributed and event-driven systems.
- Lead platform and product development initiatives with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and GTM readiness.

Healthcare & Life Sciences Domain Expertise

- solutions for healthcare and life sciences use cases such as:
- Clinical, payer, provider, and life sciences platforms
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, GDPR where applicable).
- Embed privacy, security, and compliance by design across all architectures.

Cloud, AI & Data Architecture

- Lead cloud transformation initiatives across at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Define and execute hybrid cloud and cloud migration strategies for healthcare workloads.
- Provide architectural leadership across AI/ML technologies, including traditional ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI Agents, with responsible AI practices in healthcare contexts.

Modernization & Transformation

- Drive enterprise modernization programs, including:
- Legacy (including mainframe) to up-to-date 3-tier / digital architectures
- Monolithic to microservices-based architectures
- Containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes




- Ensure modernization initiatives deliver measurable improvements in performance, agility, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Performance, Reliability & Security

- Define architecture standards for performance optimization, capacity planning, and digital infrastructure optimization.
- Lead secure-by-design architectures covering infrastructure, application, cloud, data, and AI security.
- Collaborate with SRE/DRE and security teams to ensure high availability, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Chief Architect / Chief Technologist / Enterprise Architect in Healthcare or Life Sciences organizations.
- Strong prior hands-on experience as a Full Stack Architect.

- Deep expertise in
- Programming: Java / Python / .NET (minimum 2 of 3)
- Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP (minimum 2)
- AI/ML: Traditional ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI Agents
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale healthcare IT modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

Thought Leadership & Community Contribution

- Active public GitHub profile with consistent contributions demonstrating ongoing hands-on technical involvement.
- Technical certifications and/or published contributions such as blogs, whitepapers, technical articles, or participation in leadership forums.
- Recognized mentor and thought leader within architecture and engineering communities.
