Job Role: Finance Business Analyst Full time Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with robust experience in Finance processes to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The successful candidate will analyze, document, improve, and support end-to-end finance processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency goals.

The Business Analyst will work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, Project Management, and external vendors to deliver process improvements, system enhancements, and transformation initiatives across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and process-mapping sessions to understand current and future-state processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
- Facilitate communication between Finance users, technology teams, and third-party vendors.

Finance Process Improvement

- Analyze and optimize finance processes including:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Fixed Assets Management
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Financial Close and Consolidation

- Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives.

System Implementation & Enhancements





- Support implementation and enhancement of ERP and finance systems.
- Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to define system solutions.
- Participate in system configuration reviews and design discussions.
- Support integration initiatives between finance and other enterprise systems.

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate solutions against business requirements.
- Support defect resolution and production issue analysis.

Stakeholder Management

- Build strong relationships with Finance leadership and business users.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate decision-making through data-driven recommendations.

Documentation & Governance

- Maintain process maps, business requirements documents, and functional specifications.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit activities by providing process and system documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10-15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Finance or Finance Transformation projects.




- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Experience documenting business requirements and process flows.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional certifications such as:
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
- PMI-PBA
- CPA / ACCA / CIMA
- Lean Six Sigma

- Experience with finance automation and workflow tools.
- Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Experience supporting finance transformation, ERP implementation, or shared services initiatives.

Compensation:

- Daily rate between INR 5000 to 8000 with 5 days a week
- Working from Home
