Role & responsibilities

1. Perform daily color matching, color toning, and sample preparation activities to meet production requirements.

2. Develop and optimize color formulations using pigments, color powders, color pastes, and other coloring materials.

3. Ensure color matching processes are carried out according to approved color standards and customer specifications.

4.Monitor production processes and troubleshoot color-related issues such as shade variation, color deviation, uneven coloration, and color defects.

5.Investigate and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality and minimize production losses.

6.Record, maintain, and update color formulations, production data, testing results, and related documentation.

7.Continuously improve color matching accuracy, process efficiency, and product consistency.

8.Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Application teams to conduct color inspections and product evaluations.

9.Ensure finished products meet customer color requirements and quality standards.

10.Support cost reduction initiatives by optimizing raw material usage and minimizing wastage.





11.Follow production schedules and prioritize color matching activities to ensure timely completion of manufacturing targets.

12.Assist in developing new color samples and solutions based on customer and business requirements.

13.Adhere to company quality, safety, and operational procedures at all times.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in color matching, color development, masterbatch, plastics, polymers, paints, or coatings industries.

Robust knowledge of pigments, colorants, polymer materials, and color formulation techniques.

Ability to troubleshoot color-related production issues and implement effective corrective actions.

Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word with good documentation and reporting skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
