Purpose of the Role -

The Commercial FP&A; Analyst supports the Commercial FP&A; function by delivering high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business insights. The role is expected to leverage Advanced Excel, Power BI, AI tools, and automation techniques to improve reporting efficiency, drive data-driven decision-making, and support commercial performance management across the business.

Position Overview

We are seeking a data-driven FP&A; Analyst to drive financial forecasting, corporate budgeting, and strategic business insights. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between traditional corporate finance and contemporary data analytics. You will leverage Power BI, advanced data modeling, and AI automation tools to transform complex financial data into actionable executive dashboards and automated workflows.

Financial Planning & Analysis

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Planning & Analysis: Annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and long-range strategic financial planning.
- Business Intelligence & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain automated financial dashboards in Power BI using complex DAX and Power Query.
- Advanced Data Modeling: Construct robust financial models in Advanced Excel to support scenario planning, and business cases.
- AI & Automation:



Implement AI-driven tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Python scripts) to automate repetitive data ingestion, financial reporting, and predictive forecasting.
- Executive Reporting: Present monthly and quarterly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to senior leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.

Preferred candidate profile -

Education & Experience

- Background: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, MIS, Data Analytics, or an MBA (Finance). Professional certifications like CFA, CMA, or CA are a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A;, Corporate Finance, or Financial Business Intelligence.

Technical Tech-Stack

- Advanced Excel: Mastery of Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, VBA/Macros, and financial model architecture.
- Power BI: Expert level in ETL pipelines, star-schema data modeling, row-level security, and writing advanced DAX queries.
- AI & Automation Literacy: Proven experience using generative AI or automation tools to optimize financial workflows or conduct predictive analytics.
- Systems: Experience extracting and manipulating large datasets from ERPs like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
