Role & responsibilities
1. Design and develop automotive plastic components or sheet metal components using UG NX (Mandatory).
2. Work on Interior & Exterior Trim Parts such as Bumpers, Grilles, Door Trims, Pillars, Consoles, and related components.
3. Sheet metal components like BIW, Pillars, Floor pan, hood, doors, fender etc.
4. Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings as per customer requirements.
5. Ensure designs comply with automotive standards, feasibility, and quality requirements.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including styling, tooling, manufacturing, and validation teams.
7. Support design reviews, engineering changes (ECR/ECN), and product development activities.
Preferred candidate profile
2+ years of experience in designing
Experience in UG NX
Experience in either Plastic components or Sheet metal components or Vehicle Integration (Solid expertise in any of these)
