As a Data Engineer, you will act as a core architect of our data ecosystem, responsible for designing and maintaining the pipelines that power our clients' analytical capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and product managers, to transform raw data into actionable insights. Your day-to-day will involve building resilient ETL frameworks, optimizing data storage, and ensuring high-performance delivery of data assets that drive critical business decision-making for our global customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from disparate sources into centralized data warehouses to support business intelligence reporting.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure high-performance data retrieval for end-user applications.
- Architect robust data models within Snowflake to support multi-tenant environments and ensure data integrity across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical data specifications, ensuring alignment between data infrastructure and business goals.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance,
implementing proactive fixes to minimize latency and ensure 24/7 data availability.
- Automate data workflows using Python or Scala to reduce manual intervention and improve the reliability of data delivery cycles.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in building and managing large-scale data pipelines using Python or Scala within cloud-native environments.
- Advanced expertise in SQL and Snowflake DB, with a proven ability to perform complex data modeling and schema design for data warehousing.
- Robust understanding of distributed computing frameworks like Spark for processing large datasets efficiently.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear project expectations and outcomes.
- Proven track record of working effectively in remote or distributed team setups, maintaining high standards of documentation and code quality.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, backed by 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
- Adaptability to work across multiple time zones and locations, maintaining a high level of professional autonomy and technical rigor.
