About The Role We are seeking an early-career IT professional to join our healthcare technology team as a Cerner EHR Support Specialist. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their technical expertise in healthcare IT systems, specifically within Oracle Cerner environments. Under the mentorship of seasoned consultants and technical leaders, you will support clients in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of their Cerner EHR systems.

Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, configuration, and workflow support, all aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of critical healthcare infrastructure. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of healthcare IT systems and electronic health records (EHR) environments.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cerner or similar EHR platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work under supervision and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.




- Experience or knowledge in domains such as Pharmnet, Medication Management, Orderset and PowerPlan, RadNet, PathNet, Blood Bank, or Ambulatory Clinical Documentation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, validate, and support the production setting of Oracle Cerner EHR systems.
- Provide Level 2 (L2) support for production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly, maintaining high standards of patient safety and data accuracy.
- Configure and maintain various components of the Cerner environment to optimize system performance.
- Support workflow configurations to meet client-specific clinical and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and system modifications for future reference and compliance.
- Participate in continuous learning initiatives to stay updated on healthcare IT best practices and Cerner system updates.
