Role Description The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role involves performing and overseeing cardiac procedures appropriate to the individual’s training and credentials, coordinating care with other medical and surgical specialties, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions.

The Cardiologist will also educate patients and families on prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment options,



while maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine and clinical practice, with the ability to manage complex cardiovascular cases.

Expertise in Cardiology, including diagnosis and management of ischemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions.

Skills in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular procedures, as applicable to the candidate’s training and credentials.

Experience or training in Nuclear Medicine techniques relevant to cardiology, such as nuclear stress testing and myocardial imaging.

Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency in Internal Medicine, plus DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Cardiology.

Valid medical license and board certification/eligibility in Cardiology as per applicable regulations.

Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and electronic medical records, with strong clinical documentation skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach and commitment to ethical practice.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.

Interest in continuing medical education, research, or quality improvement initiatives is an added advantage.
