About the Role

We are seeking a Cardiac Registered Nurse (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on cardiovascular nursing, cardiac patient care, clinical documentation, evidence-based practice, and AI-generated healthcare content evaluation.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated nursing assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, patient education materials, medication guidance, and clinical reasoning related to cardiovascular care. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for clinical decision support, nursing documentation, patient education, and healthcare AI applications.

This position is ideal for Registered Nurses with experience in cardiac care, coronary care units (CCU), cardiac intensive care units (CICU), telemetry units, catheterization laboratories, cardiac surgery recovery, or cardiovascular outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities

- Review AI-generated nursing notes, care plans, discharge summaries, medication education, patient counseling materials, and cardiovascular clinical documentation.
- Evaluate nursing care involving myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, valvular heart disease, cardiac surgery recovery, pacemakers, implantable cardiac devices, and cardiac catheterization.
- Verify AI-generated recommendations using current cardiovascular nursing guidelines, evidence-based practice, ACLS principles,



and established standards of care.
- Identify clinical inaccuracies, medication safety concerns, documentation deficiencies, unsupported recommendations, and patient safety risks.
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in cardiovascular nursing, clinical documentation, and patient education.
- Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable country or state of practice.
- 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in cardiac nursing, cardiovascular care, telemetry, CCU, CICU, or related specialty.
- Assessing and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Monitoring ECGs, telemetry, hemodynamic status, and cardiac medications.
- Caring for patients before and after cardiac procedures and surgeries.
- Educating patients regarding medications, lifestyle modifications, and cardiac rehabilitation.
- Reviewing AI-generated nursing documentation for clinical accuracy and patient safety.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar platforms.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent clinical reasoning, analytical thinking,



and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, quick-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in CCU, CICU, telemetry units, catheterization laboratories, cardiac rehabilitation centers, cardiac surgery units, emergency departments, or cardiovascular outpatient clinics.
- Experience managing patients with myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, post-CABG care, structural heart disease, electrophysiology procedures, or cardiac device implantation.
- Experience evaluating AI-generated nursing documentation, clinical decision-support systems, patient education materials, or healthcare datasets.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, prompt engineering, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), AI benchmarking, or healthcare AI evaluation is an advantage.
- Specialty certifications such as Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification (CV-BC) , Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) , Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) , or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Teaching experience, quality improvement initiatives, or research in cardiovascular nursing are a plus.
