The technical engineer should deliver Powertrain CFD projects with emphasis on Engine Cooling system (Hydraulics and deaeration simulation) as an individual contributor/with support of team
Leverage team competency by bringing new technology/concept to deliver Program Gateways
Provide technical guidance on Powertrain Integration CFD projects to new engineers.
Take initiative and responsibility for recent challenging projects and collaborate team to deliver the task
Ensure lessons learnt are captured, translated & applied to future programs, participate in Powertrain Tech club meetings and support developing action plans and solutions for critical issues related to PTI CFD system
Should be able to find out the root cause for convergence issues during analysis and mentor the team to complete complex analysis
Interfacing with the customer on the project status and analysis reviews on closure of TGW/issues within expectation Domain Knowledge Good Understanding of CFD 3D Flow, Thermal, Porous Modelling and multi-phase modellin
Knowledge in Engine cooling system.
Perform CAD cleanup, Surface Meshing using ANSA, and Star-CCM+.
Perform CFD simulations using Star-CCM+ and Simerics with best practices for accurate computational efficiency.
Nice to have Simerics tool exposure, nice to have 1D Flow Master tools exposure.
