About the Role
Acquisory Consulting LLP is looking for enthusiastic and analytical Chartered Accountants (2026 Batch) to join our Financial Due Diligence (FDD - Real estate) team. This role is ideal for candidates who have completed their Articleship with exposure to Statutory Audit of Real Estate clients and are keen to build a career in Transaction Advisory.
You will work alongside experienced professionals on buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements involving real estate developers, commercial and residential projects, REITs, and other real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in financial due diligence engagements for mergers, acquisitions, investments, and fund-raising transactions.
- Review and analyse financial statements, trial balances, and management accounts.
- Understand project-wise revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP), inventory, and construction costs.
- Analyse working capital, cash flows, debt positions, and key financial ratios.
- Perform financial analysis and identify accounting and commercial risks.
- Support the preparation of due diligence reports, financial schedules, and client presentations.
- Conduct data analysis using Excel and other financial tools.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain and review financial information.
- Work closely with senior team members to deliver engagements within agreed timelines.
- Gain exposure to domestic and cross-border transaction advisory assignments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
Qualified in 2026.
- Candidates must be currently based in Mumbai.
- Articleship experience should include Statutory Audit of Real Estate clients.
- Strong academic record with a genuine interest in Transaction Advisory and Financial Due Diligence.
Desired Skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and audit procedures.
- Basic understanding of real estate accounting and revenue recognition.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
