Role Description The CA Industrial Trainee internship is an on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The trainee supports the finance and accounting function by assisting in preparation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory compliance documentation. Daily activities may include supporting general ledger accounting, cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting tasks, and reconciliation of accounts.
The role involves working with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, contribute to internal controls and process improvements,
and assist with audits and documentation for regulatory requirements. The trainee is expected to learn and apply professional standards, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a culture of integrity, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) and eligible for an industrial training program, with a strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation.
Sound knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and management accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to a structured industrial environment.
Interest in manufacturing or engineering industries and willingness to learn about operational processes and their financial impact.
Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and adherence to professional and organizational standards.
