As the Business Head , you will be responsible for shaping the vision and strategy for Azure Data & AI offerings, growing the customer base, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring the successful implementation of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the overall business strategy for Azure Data & AI solutions.
- Lead the business development efforts, focusing on driving sales, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the customer base.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, product teams, and partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies.
- Drive sales efforts to achieve revenue targets in the Azure Data & AI vertical.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new market opportunities and close high-value deals.




- Develop sales strategies, including lead generation, client engagement, and account management.
- Utilize your knowledge of Azure Data and AI to pitch relevant solutions and position the organization as a trusted advisor.
- Report regularly on business performance, sales forecasts, and project delivery milestones to senior management.

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or sales management, with a strong emphasis on Azure Data & AI solutions.
- Proven track record in selling cloud-based solutions, particularly in the Azure ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Data Analytics, AI (including Machine Learning), and cloud-based data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate) are a plus.
- Experience in consultative selling and solution architecture for cloud-based data and AI solutions.
- Familiarity with industry-specific use cases of data and AI (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail).
- Strong network and existing relationships with senior executives in industries that leverage Azure Data & AI solutions.
