Sales & Business Development

- Own the sales target for the GSP business unit
- Build and manage outbound and inbound pipelines across target segments (logistics, manufacturing, pharma, and other GST-heavy industries)
- Leverage cross-sell opportunities within the group's existing SAP client base to accelerate GSP adoption
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, solutioning, commercial negotiation, and closure
- Build and maintain relationships with CXOs, Finance/Tax heads, and IT decision-makers at prospect and client organizations
- Track market and competitive intelligence on the GSP/e-invoicing/e-way bill landscape

Operations & Client Management
- Oversee onboarding of new GSP clients, ensuring smooth handoff from sales to implementation/support teams
- Own service delivery metrics — uptime, API reliability, turnaround times — and coordinate with tech/product teams to resolve escalations
- Set up and monitor SOPs for client servicing, renewals, and compliance-related deadlines (e-way bill, e-invoicing mandates, etc.)




- Manage and mentor a small team (sales/ops executives), if applicable, setting targets and reviewing performance
- Report on business unit performance (pipeline, revenue, retention, churn) to leadership

Candidate Requirements

- 10+ years of overall experience, with a significant portion in B2B sales (SaaS, fintech, compliance-tech, or enterprise software preferred)
- Prior exposure to GST/e-invoicing/e-way bill ecosystem, GSPs, ASPs, or tax-tech is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage both sales targets and operational delivery — this is not a pure hunting role
- Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with CFOs, tax heads, and IT teams
- Experience selling into or working with SAP-ecosystem clients is an advantage
- Willing and able to work from Pune (in office/hybrid as per company policy)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and people-management skills
