About the Role

We are hiring a full time Business Development Officer, based in Delhi, to build and scale our Pre-Policy Checkup (PPC / PPMC) business with large life insurance companies and large corporates. You will own the commercial relationship end to end - from first meeting and empanelment through to volume ramp-up - and will be the face of Mediwheel's medical examination and health checkup network to insurers and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, pitch and win Pre-Policy Medical Checkup (PPMC) and Medical Examination Report (MER) mandates from large life insurance companies.
- Drive empanelment with insurers' underwriting, medical, operations and procurement teams; manage RFPs, rate cards, SLAs and TAT commitments.
- Build and grow a portfolio of large corporate accounts for pre-employment and annual health checkup programmes.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, solutioning, commercial negotiation, contracting and go-live.
- Partner with internal operations and the diagnostic network to ensure TAT, quality and coverage commitments are met, including in tier 2 and tier 3 locations.




- Deliver against revenue and empanelment targets; maintain an accurate pipeline in CRM and report on funnel health.
- Represent Mediwheel with insurers, brokers, TPAs and relevant industry forums.

What We Are Looking For

- 3-8 years of B2B business development experience, with hands-on exposure to Pre-Policy Checkup / PPMC / MER, diagnostics, TPA, corporate wellness or health insurance services.
- Strongly preferred: candidates currently or previously with organisations that deliver pre-policy checkups to life insurers, such as diagnostic chains, health-tech wellness platforms or TPAs.
- Existing relationships with underwriting, medical, operations or procurement decision-makers at life insurance companies.
- Proven ability to sell to large corporates as well as insurers, engaging HR, admin and CXO stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen across pricing, unit economics and rate-card negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Based in Delhi NCR and willing to travel for client meetings.
