About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Business Analyst Lead to drive requirements discovery, business process analysis, documentation management, and stakeholder alignment for enterprise, AI-driven, analytics-focused, and large-scale digital transformation projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, government or enterprise stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, and quality assurance teams. The role requires the ability to translate complex business needs into transparent, structured, and traceable functional requirements while supporting solution design, development, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirements discovery, stakeholder interviews, and facilitated workshops with business users, subject matter experts, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct As-Is process studies, gap analysis, impact assessments, and To-Be process design.
- Elicit, analyse, document, validate, prioritise, and manage business, functional, non-functional, and user requirements.
- Prepare and maintain structured documentation, including:
- Business Requirements Documents
- User Requirements Specifications
- Functional Requirements Specifications
- Software Requirements Specifications
- Use cases and user stories
- Process flows and workflow diagrams
- Acceptance criteria
- Requirements Traceability Matrices
- Own requirements traceability across solution design, development, testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation phases.




- Model complex business processes using BPMN, UML, flowcharts, and other recognised process-modelling techniques.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into clear and actionable specifications for product, engineering, data, analytics, and quality assurance teams.
- Analyse operational and project data to identify trends, risks, process bottlenecks, improvement opportunities, and business insights.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives and documented requirements.
- Support solution design reviews, requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and change-control activities.
- Review test scenarios, test cases, and validation outputs to ensure adequate coverage of business requirements.
- Coordinate and support system testing, user acceptance testing, defect analysis, and business sign-off.
- Prepare business cases, analysis reports, dashboards, presentations, and decision-support materials for senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, scalability, and improved service delivery.
- Manage requirement changes, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior business analysts and promote consistent business-analysis standards and documentation practices across projects.
- Handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, innovation-led workplace.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis, including significant experience in enterprise application delivery, digital transformation, or large-scale technology implementation projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, requirement engineering, analysis, documentation, validation, and lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing URS, BRD, FRS, SRS, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and RTM documentation.




- Strong proficiency in As-Is and To-Be process analysis, gap analysis, process mapping, and process improvement.
- Hands-on experience with BPMN, UML, workflow modelling, and structured documentation standards.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with senior management, business users, technical teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience managing requirement traceability across development, testing, and implementation phases.
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, GitLab Wiki, GitLab Issues, or equivalent requirements and collaboration platforms.
- Basic understanding of data analysis, reporting, dashboards, business intelligence tools, APIs, system integrations, and data-driven applications.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in New Delhi.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on AI, analytics, automation, machine learning, data platforms, or other technology-driven solutions.
- Exposure to government, public-sector, eGovernance, citizen-service, or large enterprise transformation projects.
- Domain experience in logistics, operations, healthcare, transport, public safety, or other complex and process-intensive industries.
- Experience supporting solution-design reviews, SRS documentation, product backlog management, and enterprise system implementations.
- Experience working with command-and-control centres, grievance management platforms, fraud detection systems, data hubs, or digital health solutions.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or an equivalent business-analysis certification.
