- Receive and assist customer walk-ins at the branch for gold loan inquiries and applications
- Conduct gold purity assessment and assaying using fire assay, karat meter, and acid testing methods
- Evaluate gold ornaments for weight, purity, and applicable loan-to-value (LTV) as per RBI guidelines
- Process loan applications routed to the branch by Loan Managers (LMs), ensuring end-to-end documentation and disbursement
- Verify customer KYC documents and maintain compliance with internal and regulatory norms
- Coordinate with LMs and branch operations for smooth loan processing and turnaround
- Ensure accurate gold storage, tagging, and custodianship as per SOPs
- Maintain zero deviation from audit and compliance requirements during all gold handling activities




- Deliver superior customer experience at the branch, ensuring resolution of queries and concerns Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in gold loan operations at a bank, NBFC, or gold loan company
- Hands-on experience in gold assaying — fire assays, karat meter testing, and acid testing
- Prior experience working in a branch model (not DSA/field sales)
- Knowledge of RBI LTV norms, KYC/AML compliance, and gold loan documentation
