Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bluetooth Audio Profile Developer located in Bengaluru South. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing Bluetooth audio profiles and related protocol stack components for embedded platforms. The developer will work on integrating Bluetooth audio features, debugging issues across firmware and software layers, and collaborating with hardware, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable performance and compliance with Bluetooth standards.

Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, conducting unit and integration testing, analyzing logs and traces to resolve defects,



and contributing to documentation and design reviews. The role also requires active participation in cross-functional discussions to refine requirements, improve audio quality, and support product releases.

Qualifications

Solid embedded software development skills, including C/C++ programming and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Hands-on expertise in Bluetooth Classic and BLE, with focus on audio profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and related protocol stack implementation.

Experience with audio systems, codecs (e.g., SBC, AAC, aptX, LC3), streaming, latency optimization, and audio debugging tools.

Proficiency in system-level debugging, use of analyzers and log tools, and resolving interoperability issues across devices.

Familiarity with wireless standards, embedded architectures, and performance optimization for constrained environments.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

5+ years of relevant industry experience in Bluetooth stack development, audio products, or similar embedded communication domains.

Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and a structured approach to problem-solving and documentation.

Experience working with semiconductor or consumer electronics companies, and exposure to product life cycles from design to mass production is an advantage.
