Balkrishna Industries
Ltd (BKT), the global off-highway tyre manufacturer, has announced three senior appointments to its Original Equipment (OE) division, targeting key markets in France and South America. The move forms part of the company's strategic roadmap and 2030 growth vision, as BKT aims to establish itself as a worldwide leader and trusted partner in the OE channel. The expansion is designed to strengthen BKT's customer-focused brand presence through enhanced technical engagement and closer collaboration with the entire OEM ecosystem across these strategically important markets.
France: Focus on Brand Specification BKT has appointed Rémi Morin as Brand Specification Manager for France, where the company already holds a solid position with OEMs and end-users, leading in the aftermarket channel. Morin brings over 12 years of experience with a major global OEM, coupled with a decade of international leadership across smart farming, mobility, and innovation. In his new role, Morin will lead BKT's strategic engagement with tractor dealers in France.
The appointment reflects BKT's commitment to aligning product development more closely with the needs of OEMs, dealers, and end-users, ensuring innovation is driven by real-world field demands. This focus on tractor dealer relationships represents what BKT describes as "a bold step" in delivering value through deeper partnerships, sharper market insight, and customer-centric growth.
South America: Dual Senior Appointments To scale operations in this key business region, BKT has made two senior appointments for South America. Cadu Accica joins as Head OEM South America,
bringing 19 years of experience in the speciality tyre industry with a proven track record in business development, marketing, and sales across Latin America. At BKT, Accica will lead OE partnerships, focusing on delivering value through customer proximity and long-term collaboration.
Lincoln
Sugimoto has been appointed OEM Technical Manager South America. With 15 years of experience, including key roles in the speciality tyre and material handling industries, along with a strong background in engineering and project management, Sugimoto will ensure OEMs in South America receive best-in-class technical support whilst fostering innovation and operational excellence in partnerships.
Global Vision
Commenting on the appointments, Ludovic Revel, President Global OEM at BKT, stated: "These appointments reflect our bold commitment to scaling our OE business worldwide—with Europe and South America being critical parts of that journey. Rémi, Cadu, and Lincoln bring passion, expertise, and a shared belief in performance through partnership and innovation. Their arrival enhances our ability to engage with OEMs at the highest level and deliver long-term value across regions. We are building a team that will transform our strong ambitions into reality at a global level." Following recent strategic additions to the OE teams across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, BKT says it is now in a uniquely strong position to scale its OE business across all segments (agriculture, industrial, and OTR) unlocking new growth opportunities in alignment with its ambitious 2030 Strategic Plan.
