Role Description The BIW Maintenance role is a full time, on-site position based in West Bengal, India. This role involves performing routine and specialized maintenance on Body-in-White (BIW) equipment, ensuring machines and production lines operate safely and efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance checks, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing repairs, and minimizing downtime in coordination with production teams.

The role also requires documenting maintenance activities, monitoring equipment performance,



and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes and safety standards.

Qualifications

Ability to perform Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance activities on BIW machinery and production systems.

Skills in Preventive Maintenance planning and execution to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.

Experience in Maintenance & Repair and corrective Maintenance to address mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

Strong Troubleshooting capabilities for identifying root causes of equipment faults and implementing effective solutions.

Knowledge of BIW processes, automotive manufacturing, or industrial automation is highly beneficial.

Understanding of safety standards, use of maintenance tools, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to work in shifts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
