Role Description The Biotech Intern will support ongoing research and development efforts that connect biological signals, human movement, and assistive technologies. This internship role is on-site and based in Mumbai, where the intern will work closely with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals.

Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with experimental design, collecting and analyzing data related to human gestures or physiological responses, preparing samples or conducting basic laboratory procedures, and documenting findings in a clear and structured manner.



The intern will also contribute to literature reviews, help maintain lab records and protocols, and participate in discussions on improving product usability and patient outcomes. This role offers hands-on experience in a mission-driven environment at the intersection of biotechnology and health-tech innovation.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline, supported by current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Experience or coursework in basic laboratory techniques, data collection, and analytical methods relevant to biological or physiological studies.
- Ability to conduct structured research, review scientific literature, and summarize findings for multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting experiments, preparing reports, and collaborating with team members.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment, with attention to detail, organization, and adherence to safety and ethical guidelines.
- Interest in AI, computer vision, human-computer interaction, or assistive technologies is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered innovation, empathy for individuals with disabilities, and a drive to learn in a fast-paced startup setting.
