We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bio-Curator / Biocuration Scientist with 1–3 years of experience to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will bridge the gap between complex oncology research and structured data.

You will use both manual and automated methods, extract, validate, and index high-quality biomedical data from scientific literature, clinical trials, and regulatory drug labels. This role is ideal for a life sciences graduate eager to apply their experience on state-of-art methods to curate data by leveraging advanced tools.

Educational Qualification /Experience

Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Life Science discipline (Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields). Strong understanding Oncology/cell biology/Molecular biology/Drugs is must

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data curation, academic research, or scientific writing.

Roles & Responsibilities

Literature Curation: Monitor, review, and extract relevant oncology and clinical data from scientific literature, clinical trial registries, and medical databases.

Data standardization (FAIR) :



Apply consistent metadata and controlled vocabularies so data stays findable, interoperable, and ML-ready

Data Indexing: Standardize and index curated information into our internal knowledge base using a mix of manual review and automated data-extraction tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and the pipeline owner to ensure data accuracy, resolve data gaps, and improve curation workflows.

Programming Basics: Proficiency in programming languages like Python and working knowledge of Git, API scraping, and Large Language Models (LLMs)

Workplace Tools: VS Code, Jupyter notebook, Github or any version control system

File Formats: Experience in handling different structured and unstructured data formats, including JSON, Excel, CSV, and Word documents.

API Usage: Knowledge on how to interact with APIs for source data access.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings.

Team work: Must work effectively within an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
