Role Description The Bima Sakhi role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves identifying potential customers, explaining LIC’s insurance products, and assisting individuals and families in selecting suitable policies according to their financial needs and goals.

The Bima

Sakhi will regularly meet clients in person, conduct follow-ups, support policy issuance and documentation, and provide ongoing customer service for renewals and claims-related guidance. The role also includes maintaining basic records of client interactions, participating in local marketing initiatives,



and collaborating with LIC branches and team members to achieve sales and service targets.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers and build long-term relationships.

Candidates should possess basic sales and customer service skills, including the ability to understand client needs and explain insurance products clearly.

Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client meetings, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.

Candidates should possess basic numerical and financial understanding to discuss premiums, benefits, and policy features accurately.

Candidates should possess familiarity with local language(s) of Coimbatore and basic computer usage for maintaining records and using digital tools.

Minimum educational qualification of higher secondary school (12th standard) or above; prior experience in insurance, finance, or field sales is an advantage.

Ability to work independently in office, travel locally for client visits, and maintain professional conduct aligned with LIC’s standards.
