ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy and technical correctness of the design and co- ordination of the working d rawings produced.Prepare the working drawings in accordance with the project and company standards an d specifications.Co-ordinate the Air Conditioning drawings with the civil and archi tectural layouts.Co-ordinate the Air Conditioning services with the electrical, plumbing and firefighting services, including preparation mult iservice details.Resolution of technical difficulties with the p rofessional team.Resolution of technical difficulties with the site team as directed by the Project Engineer.Design works required by the contract.Obtain drawing approval from the p rofessional team.Issue the approved drawings to site.Maintain the working drawing register for the air condi tioning drawings.Maintain the daily record of the work done incl uding time sheet.Participate in preparation and implement quality assurance plans.Preparation of record drawings.Identification of additional works and advice the Project Engineer to enable formal instruction s to be ob tained.
Key SkillsDetailed engineering knowledge in the design and engineering of Air Conditioning systemsfor commercial and light industrial buildings in the GCC. The services wouldinclude both ductwork and pipe work for the following Sys tems:Water and air-cooled chiller p lant.Constant volume air handling plant.

Understanding of the method of construction of buildings.
Outline knowledge of the electrical and other mech anical service installations in buildings.
Ability to communicate effectiv ely in English - both orally and in writing
Developed computer skills, particularly in computer aided drafting / 3D mo deling packages, spreadsheets and databases.
Able to create / modify Revit parametric families
Detailed design ability to undertake ductwork and pipe work sizing, pu mp pressure and fan pressure calculations etc.
Detailed knowledge of International, Dubai and Abu Dhabi codes of practice, regulations, and specifications for the construction industry with particular knowledge o f the Municipal and Civil Defence requirements.
Ability to read, understand, visu alise and interpret drawings and specifications.

EducationDiploma in Mech anical engineering / ITI Full timeCourse along with:Approved training from a reputed institute in computer aided drafting packa ges particularly, Revit / Auto Cad and Microstation.Approved training in Air Conditioning would be an advantage.
Knowledge o f BIM soft wares such as Navisworks / Revizto is must. Experience4 to 10 years engineering experience with at least 2 years in the preparation of air-conditioning construction drawi ngs for buildings.Minimum 4 years of experience in RevitInternational experi ence, preferably in GCC countries would be an advantage.Site exper ience in installation / execution would be an advantage.
