We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented BIM Lead - Bridges to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy and execution for bridge and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for coordinating BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving innovation in our modeling processes.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to mentor teams and deliver high-quality BIM deliverables. Lead and manage BIM modeling activities for bridge projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project specifications
Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across project teams
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and optimize project workflows through clash detection and analysis
Create and maintain comprehensive 3D BIM models using industry-standard software and tools
Mentor and supervise BIM coordinators and modelers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback
Analyze project requirements and develop detailed BIM execution plans aligned with organizational and client objectives
Prepare technical documentation, including BIM manuals, modeling guidelines, and coordination reports
Manage BIM data, ensuring proper organization, version control, and accessibility across project teams
Collaborate with project managers to integrate BIM deliverables into construction sequencing and cost estimation processes
Stay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry standards, recommending process improvements
Conduct quality assurance reviews on BIM models and coordinate with stakeholders to address issues Qualifications Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling and coordination within the AEC industry
3+ years of dedicated experience on bridge and infrastructure projects
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for 3D modeling and documentation
Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model management
Strong knowledge of bridge design principles, structural systems, and construction methodologies
Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Solid organizational and project coordination abilities
Proficiency in technical documentation and report generation
Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with Navisworks for model coordination and visualization
Knowledge of Dynamo or other BIM automation tools
Familiarity with programming or scripting for BIM workflows
Experience with construction sequencing and 4D modeling
Knowledge of cost estimation and quantity takeoff processes
Understanding of BIM standards such as ISO 19650
Domain Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of bridge engineering and infrastructure project delivery
Familiarity with BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practices
Understanding of construction methodologies and project execution strategies
