Role Description The Billing Engineer & Planning role is a full time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves preparing and verifying Bills of Quantities (BOQs), managing billing systems, and ensuring accurate quantity take-offs and measurements for civil finishing works.

The individual will perform rate analysis, support contract and cost management, and coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and contractors for billing-related documentation. Daily responsibilities include tracking project progress,



updating planning and billing reports, supporting budget forecasts, and assisting in timely submission of client bills and certification. The role also requires maintaining detailed records, monitoring variations, and contributing to process improvements for billing and planning functions.

Qualifications

- Strong quantity surveying capabilities, including BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying skills.
- Proficiency in billing processes and tools, including experience with Billing Systems and Rate Analysis.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to review project data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate cost control.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction, contracting, or project planning, preferably in civil finishing works.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with site teams and client representatives.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other planning or billing software; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
