Role Description The BD Localization & Translation (Government Projects) role is a part time position focused on developing and managing business opportunities with government clients who require advanced document translation and localization services. This is a hybrid role based in New Delhi, with a mix of on-site meetings and remote work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying government leads, conducting market research on public-sector translation needs, and supporting the preparation of proposals, tenders, and presentations. The role involves engaging with government stakeholders, explaining Lekhak.app’s capabilities, gathering requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure solutions are aligned with project specifications.



The team member will also help maintain client relationships, track project progress, and provide feedback to improve offerings for the government segment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience interpreting data, tenders, and government project requirements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities for engaging with government stakeholders, presenting solutions, and preparing clear documentation.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation experience, including identifying and nurturing opportunities within government departments and agencies.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to analyze public-sector localization and translation needs, competition, and policy trends.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service capabilities to manage ongoing relationships, respond to client queries, and support project delivery.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes, RFPs, and tender documentation is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of translation, localization, or language technology solutions is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Languages, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
