Role Description As a Back End Developer at Yoters, you will design, build, and maintain server-side applications that power our canteen management platform. You will develop APIs, optimize database structures, and ensure secure and reliable integration with front-end services and third-party systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, resolving technical issues, improving performance and scalability, and collaborating closely with front-end developers, product managers, and operations teams. You will participate in code reviews, write clean and testable code, and contribute to architectural decisions that support rapid growth and high availability. This is a internship, hybrid based in Bengaluru.





Qualifications

- Robust Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks and RESTful API design.
- Solid Software Development and Programming skills, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go).
- Applied knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for designing maintainable and reusable code.
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development to collaborate effectively and integrate back-end services with user interfaces.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of security best practices, performance tuning, and scalable architecture for web applications.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions within timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or deployment pipelines (e.g., AWS, Docker, CI/CD) is an advantage.
