The Cafeteria Lead Facilities Operations will be solely responsible for the
endtoend management of cafeteria operations, ensuring high standards of food
quality, hygiene, service, and employee satisfaction. This role will act as the single
point of ownership for cafeteria vendorsfrom documentation and compliance to
daily onsite governance—while also supporting broader facilities operations
including pantry services, housekeeping coordination, and internal events.
The role requires strong vendor management skills, daily operational rigor, and a
proactive, serviceoriented mindset to deliver a consistently positive workplace
experience.
Key Responsibilities:-
EndtoEnd Cafeteria & Vendor Management
• Own complete cafeteria operations lifecycle, including vendor onboarding,
documentation, compliance, performance reviews, and renewals.
• Manage and oversee daily operations of cafeteria food vendors, ensuring
contractual and service-level adherence.
• Conduct daily onsite checks with cafeteria vendors to ensure food quality,
hygiene, service discipline, and employee satisfaction.
• Taste and verify food samples regularly to ensure quality, freshness, nutrition,
and alignment with company standards.
• Monitor food presentation, portion control, menu variety, and pricing discipline.
• Proactively identify gaps, raise concerns, and drive corrective actions with
vendors.
• Conduct survey from all employees quietly.
• Visit vendor Kitchen and inspect on monthly basis.
Documentation, Compliance & Governance
• Maintain all cafeteriarelated vendor documentation, licenses, hygiene
certifications, and compliance records.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and statutory health, safety, and food
compliance standards.
• Coordinate audits and inspections related to food safety, hygiene, and
facilities standards.
Employee Experience & Feedback Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee cafeteria feedback and
concerns.
• Collect, analyze, and track feedback trends; translate insights into actionable
improvements with vendors.
• Partner with facilities leadership to continuously enhance food offerings and
overall cafeteria experience.
• Hygiene, Cleanliness & Pest Control
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across cafeteria, dining
areas, kitchens, and surrounding spaces.
• Coordinate periodic pest control activities and validate effectiveness through
inspections.
• Conduct regular hygiene and safety walkthroughs; ensure noncompliances
are resolved promptly.
Facilities, Pantry & Housekeeping Support
• Support pantry operations, ensuring consistent availability of supplies and
cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate cafeteriarelated housekeeping activities and ensure service
quality across assigned common areas.
• Collaborate with facilities vendors to maintain seamless daytoday
operations.
Event Management & Meeting Support
• Support internal events by coordinating catering, refreshments, and logistics
as required.
• Assist with meeting room setups related to food services, seating, and
cleanliness.
• Provide onground operational support during events to ensure smooth
execution.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
• Serve as a liaison between cafeteria vendors, facilities teams, and
employees.
• Share regular operational updates, feedback summaries, risks, and
improvement recommendations with the Facilities team.
• Ensure timely issue resolution and escalation when required.
Required Qualifications
• Graduate in Hotel Management
• 2–4 years of experience in cafeteria management, facilities operations,
hospitality, or vendor management roles (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
• Strong vendor management and operational ownership mindset.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail with a solid focus on hygiene, quality, and service
excellence.
• Ability to manage daily operational rigor and resolve issues proactively.
