Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Developer to support the development, configuration, and maintenance of HVR-based Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions across multiple environments. The role offers hands-on exposure to real-time data replication, enterprise integration patterns, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in delivering scalable and secure data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the setup and configuration of HVR components (location groups, channels, tables, and schedules) for new replication jobs.
- Monitor HVR logs and dashboards for job health, latency, throughput, and anomalies.
- Support data refresh and compare operations to ensure data consistency across systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of replication failures, latency issues, and schema mismatches.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure network/firewall access between source and target systems.
- Participate in testing and validation of recent replication pipelines during development and deployment phases.
- Update technical documentation, operational runbooks, and SOPs to reflect system changes and upgrades.
- Perform version upgrades and patching activities in collaboration with the platform tm.




- Support DR/Failover testing and assist in setting up replication jobs across DR environments.
- Track job performance metrics, contribute to capacity planning, and suggest optimizations.
- Respond to incidents and service requests related to HVR jobs in staging, production, and DR environments.
- Assist with role-based access configuration, audit logging, and compliance reporting in the HVR console.

Required Skills Experience

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or data integration.
- Basic hands-on experience or training in HVR or similar CDC tools (e.g., Fivetran, Oracle GoldenGate, Qlik Replicate).
- Good understanding of relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic command-line usage.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail for tracking data issues and job behavior.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
